Orbit Axis calculates astrology charts from your birth details. Those details are personal, and this page says exactly what is stored, why, who else can see it, and how to remove all of it.
Who publishes Orbit Axis

What you provide
- Email address and password — to create and access your account. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are never stored by Orbit in readable form.
- Birth date, birth time, and birthplace — the inputs a chart is calculated from.
- Coordinates and time zone — derived from the birthplace you select, so historical daylight-saving rules can be applied correctly.
- Chart names and saved charts — including charts you create for other people.
- Preferences — such as your detail level.
- Questions you ask Ask Orbit, and the conversations they belong to.
- Anything you send to support.
If you create a chart for somebody else, you are providing their birth details. Please only do that for people who would be comfortable with it.
What Orbit Axis calculates from it
- Natal chart placements, houses, angles, and aspects
- Transits, synastry, and the current sky
- Daily readings, the evidence behind them, and your reading history
- Ask Orbit answers and the evidence they were built from
- Which chart is active, and when you last selected it
These are stored so your charts and readings are the same on every device you sign in from.
Technical information
Orbit keeps deliberately little:
- Session information — an authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by scripts in your browser.
- Request identifiers — a random per-request id used to trace an error you report. It is not linked to you.
- Error information — the error code and route. Request bodies are never logged, so your birth details do not appear in Orbit's logs.
- Standard server request data handled by the hosting provider.
- Kept in your browser, not on Orbit's servers — your theme and display preferences, whether you have turned over today's Tarot card, and — when you are signed in — whether today's card has already been added to your reflections, so it is not sent twice. The Tarot marker records only that you revealed the card and for which date; the card itself is worked out from the date each time, so it is the same card whatever device you open. Nothing in this group is sent to Orbit, and clearing your browser storage removes it.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, and no third-party profiling. Orbit does not sell or share your data, because there is nobody to share it with.

Ask Orbit's optional local language model runs only on a developer's own machine during development. It is not part of the public service, and no reading you receive is sent to an external AI provider. If that ever changes, this page will change with it before the feature ships.

Who can see your data
Only you. Every table holding user data enforces ownership in the database itself, so one account cannot read another's charts, readings, or conversations — that is checked automatically with two separate test accounts, not merely intended.
How long it is kept
- Your data is kept while your account exists.
- Deleting your account removes it permanently. There is no soft delete, no grace period, and no recovery window.
- Reference data — planetary event tables, tarot card definitions — is not yours and is unaffected.
Orbit's hosting and database providers may retain their own operational backups for a short period under their standard practice. Orbit does not control those and cannot delete from them on request, so this page does not claim otherwise.
Tarot reflections are kept only for a signed-in account: the daily card you turn over and any reading you draw are added to your reflections automatically, and today's card is recorded once per day. Signed out, nothing is stored on Orbit's servers — there is no account to keep it for. A saved reflection holds the cards drawn, the question you wrote if you wrote one, and the date — nothing else. Tarot in Orbit Axis is a reflection prompt, not a prediction, and it is not calculated from your chart or from the sky. Saved reflections are included in your data export and are deleted with your account.
Deleting your account
In the app: More → Account → Delete account, then type
DELETE to confirm. It removes your account, saved charts and birth
details, readings and history, Ask Orbit conversations, and preferences, and clears
the copy your browser had cached. See

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law. Contact support and Orbit will honour them.
Age
Orbit Axis is intended for people aged not yet published and over. It is not directed at children, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact support and it will be removed.
Changes to this policy
If what Orbit collects or how it is used changes, this page is updated and the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
